Here are five things to keep in mind when you're going through a dark moment. Coping with anxiety when you're at work and expected to perform at your best can be particularly challenging.

  • There is no time or place for an accident to happen. Accidents happen every day ,and especially at workplaces and to protect the rights to such workers, even small companies and jobs have to follow the worker’s compensation law.
  • Work is hard. Parenting is hard. Both? Well that, as I am slowly learning, is a whole other ball game. Returning to work is a bit like riding a bicycle, you remember how to do it.
  • Through our work I clarified my goals, identified communication issues, fuzzy planning and established personal accountability. In working with Marla, I received practical organizing and planning techniques, inspiration and empowering suggestions.
